7 Easy Tips for a Stress-Free Holiday!

The holiday season can be Merry, but it also comes with its fair share of stress! To keep things jolly and manageable, here are seven easy holiday tips to help you stay organized and stress-free this year.

  1. Make a “Holiday Command Center”:

Set up a space in your home where you keep all your holiday to-do lists, wrapping supplies and gift receipts in one place. This will help you stay organized and prevent any last-minute scrambles!

  2. Create a Gift-List Early:

Keep a running list of who you're shopping for (and what you've already bought). It’ll help you stay on budget and avoid the dreaded “Did I forget someone?” moment!

  3. Double Duty Decorations:

Use things like baskets, festive trays, or candles that work for multiple holidays. They’ll save you time when transitioning from fall to winter decor.

  4. Use Online Shopping Tools:

Set alerts on deal sites or apps for any gifts you’re planning to buy. No one has time to chase sales in stores!

  5. Pre-Holiday Purge:

If you’ve got kids, now’s a great time to help them donate old toys to make room for the new ones. Same goes for your wardrobe—clear out those coats you don’t wear anymore and donate them to a Homeless Shelter.

  6. Stock Up on “Last-Minute Gifts”:

Keep a few generic gifts on hand.  Things like: candles, chocolates and wine.  Be prepared for unexpected guests or invites that pop up during the season.

  7. Get ahead on meal planning:

If you’re hosting, start planning your holiday menus early. Freeze make-ahead dishes now, so you can simply pop them in the oven later.  This way you can enjoy the party too!

With a little planning and these helpful tips, you can waltz through the holiday season with less stress, more joy and embrace the celebrations while making lasting memories!
